How it works

Save. Cook. Plan.

Mealz takes a recipe from wherever you found it and keeps it in one place. Then it helps you cook it and fit it into your week.

01

Save recipes from any post

Share a post to Mealz from the share sheet, or paste the link. You can also paste text, or choose up to 4 screenshots. Mealz reads screenshot text on your iPhone and builds the recipe from it.

Recipe websites with structured data import best, and their nutrition comes in too.

02

Cook step by step with timers

Guided mode shows one large step at a time and tracks your progress. Start a timer from the step. Change the number of people and every amount changes with it.

03

Plan the week, shop smarter

The AI planner builds a week of meals from the recipes you saved. The shopping list groups the ingredients and adds up the amounts, so 500 g and 1 kg of flour become one line. Share the list and the plan with your family in Messages.

In every recipe

The details you need while you cook

Each recipe holds its nutrition, amounts and servings, and Mealz converts them for you.

1

Nutrition per serving

Mealz shows 8 values for each serving: calories, protein, carbs, fat, saturated fat, fiber, sugar and sodium. You can edit every value.

Your units

Recipes come from everywhere, in cups, grams, ounces or ml. Mealz converts them into metric or US units, whichever you use. It writes ½ or ¾ in place of long decimals.

3

Servings that scale

Cooking for 6 when the recipe feeds 4? Set 6 and every amount in the recipe changes with it.

Your appliances

Mealz can rewrite a recipe for your air fryer, multicooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker, stand mixer or oven.

Apple Intelligence

A caption goes in. A recipe comes out.

Mealz uses Apple Intelligence to read a messy caption and sort it into ingredients, steps, times and servings. It can also estimate the nutrition and plan your week.

  • Captions to recipes. A list of ingredients in a post caption becomes a recipe you can scale, convert and cook step by step.

  • Nutrition estimates. When a recipe has no nutrition data, Mealz estimates the 8 values per serving. The card shows "Estimated with Apple Intelligence", and you can change any value.Pro

  • A weekly plan. The planner picks meals from your saved recipes and shows the daily calorie total.

Apple Intelligence does this work on your device or with Private Cloud Compute.

Recipe import also works on iPhones without Apple Intelligence. Nutrition estimates and meal planning require a device that supports Apple Intelligence.
